COLLECTIVE COMMUNITY

the space.

The urban neighborhood, known as West End happens
to tell the story of a community faced with overwhelming
social, economic and racial disconnect over
the last
century. In response, West End has seen
few

improvements to help solve this disconnect. Instead the lack of initiative is affecting the already existing neighborhood problems of the connection, interaction

and collaboration among residents of West End and its

visitors. The idea is to create a multi-use destination

that helps to establish a connection between the five

inner core neighborhoods of Cincinnati anchored by the

space in West End. The facility will connect community in open event spaces providing opportunities to interact as one community and allowing programs for everyone,

ultimately leading to an increase in collaboration.
